The size and facilities of the house are very good, which was one of the main reasons we chose this property, but there are a few small areas that could be improved. When we first arrived the welcome email had the code for the key safe but no mention of the alarm or the code which surprised us upon arrival. Then we couldn't find the key to the back door and the garage, according to the book it was supposed to be on the hook of the back door but it wasn't there. Luckily Darren was on hand to help and we found the key. We took our dog and the gardens were immaculate and fenced in but my only disappointment was that the garden bins were full. It's not ideal when the dog is out and the view isn't the best when exiting through the back door. Another small downside is that I personally find the mattress quite uncomfortable. That said, there are also many positives. Kitchen equipped with crockery, cutlery etc. Great for a short stay. The bathroom was clean although the shower wasn't that powerful. The location itself is a great base for exploring, a 15 minute walk from Burton and a 10 minute walk from the Hawkstone Brewery. Overall we enjoyed our stay and the suggested improvements should be easily rectified for future guests hence 4 stars out of 5.

Cedar Cottage has everything you've ever dreamed of! Comfortable, stylish and well equipped gorgeous 3 bedroom Bourton on the Water cottage. It is a great base from which to explore the Cotswolds. Three generations and our beloved cavapoo spent a wonderful long weekend in the warmth and comfort of Cedar Cabin. There are excellent restaurants and takeaways nearby and a great selection of books and board games kept us entertained. Comfortable beds and relaxing bathrooms; warm relaxing lounge and fantastic kitchen and dining area, couldn't ask for more! We will definitely be back for a longer stay next time.
