A spacious, quite comfortable house in a great location with ample parking. The kitchen is well equipped although a bit dated. The welcome pack was appreciated. The wifi was very slow and intermittent which was very frustrating. The garden is small and very close to the neighboring property separated only by a small wall, be aware of the noise of children. Our main concern was the cleanliness of the hotel. It was dusty and full of cobwebs. Given the number of people served, hangers and clothes hangers are scarce. The upstairs windows don't lock which is a safety issue as we have young children and many of the windows have wide sills which are easy for children to climb over. The bedrooms at the back of the house had no blinds/curtains on one of the windows to let the light in - not conducive to sleeping! The power socket in the master bedroom is not near the mirror in the room and you have to take the stairs to use the hairdryer. We enjoyed our stay and will probably return as the house has many positive elements but the overall look is tired and tired.

Thanks Teresa for her review of Gray Gables Barn. We are glad that you liked the location and that the property is well equipped and spacious. Since then, the manager has thoroughly cleaned the barn, made an inventory of window keys, ordered clothes hangers, and is now considering installing blinds in the back bedroom to help absorb the morning sun. We appreciate your feedback and will use it to ensure that all future guests have a pleasant and comfortable stay.

Great hotel for a large group, very spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped (except for the corkscrew), only complaints about the shower above the dining table, dripping from the ceiling. Amazing location just minutes from the center of a very beautiful city. The Dial restaurant will accommodate a large group, other restaurants are less interested or have split tables. Great food and atmosphere. Small but good farmers market in Bourton on Sundays and lots of lovely walks including a 4km walk through the Lower Slaugher Loop. I would definitely recommend staying here.

We stayed at Gray Gables Barn for 3 nights in January. The house is large and comfortable. It has everything you need and is right in the heart of the village within walking distance of bars, restaurants and shops. There are 2 fire pits to keep you warm on those cold winter nights. The beds in the two double rooms are relatively small, more suitable for children, not suitable for adults.
