Pok Mon Legends Arceus walkthrough and guide to all Arceus main quests and objectives (2023)

Pokémon Legends: Arceus for Nintendo Switch breaks away from the traditional Pokémon gameplay structure to offer a more Monster Hunter-like experience.

In Legends: Arceus, you take on the role of a new settler from the Hisui region, later known as the Sinnoh region, and join the Explorer Corps of the Galaxy Expedition Team. As a surveyor, your mission is to research wild Pokémon with the ultimate goal of creating the region's first Pokédex.

Our Pokemon Legends: Arceus walkthrough lists all the quests you need to complete during the main campaign along with their associated objectives. There are also links to our other Legends: Arceus guides, and if you're not sure if the game is for you, check out our Pokemon Legends: Arceus review.

We also have a selection of Pokemon Legends Arceus tips at the bottom of this page if you don't want to delve into the story just yet. One option that you already know is to choose an appetizer, and we can help you with that too.

Pokemon Legends: Arceus Walkthrough

The main campaign of Pokémon Legends: Arceus is divided into a series of missions, each with its own set of objectives that you must complete in linear order. The missions of course start when you complete the previous one, but you may need to increase your star rank with the Galaxy Expedition Team to complete certain objectives.

If you need to check your current mission objective, visit Arc Phone's map view and press Y. This will open a list of your current and past missions and requests; From here you can activate a mission, so your target will appear on screen occasionally throughout the game.

While exploring Hisui, you can also complete quests and research tasks to learn more about the region's Pokémon and help its residents. You can get more information about the applications and research tasks on the corresponding pages.

Below is our Pokemon Legends: Arceus walkthrough, organized by search order and the biomes you visit along the way. However, this walkthrough contains spoilers for the entire game, so proceed at your own risk.

Tips and Tricks for Pokemon Legends: Arceus

Here are some tips to help you make the most of your adventure through the Hisui region in Pokémon Legends: Arceus:

  • Stay tuned for new Pokemon! Whether in the sky, among the waves of the sea, or simply hidden in a forest, Pokémon are everywhere in Legends: Arceus, and if you forget to look up, you might miss something.

  • Try different types of Poké Balls. Each type of Poké Ball in Legends: Arceus has a specific benefit, with flyers being ideal for catching flying Pokémon. Learning these perks and experimenting with different Poké Balls will help you catch them all.

  • Can't find a specific Pokemon? try to go to sleep Certain Pokémon appear only during the day or are easier to catch when they sleep at night. When you're asleep, you can quickly jump to a specific time of day and hopefully find the Pokemon you're looking for.

  • Return to previous locations to fully explore them with Mount Pokémon. As you travel through Hisui, you'll unlock new mount Pokémon that you can use to traverse the desert. This means you can go back to previous locations and use them to reach areas you couldn't reach otherwise.

  • Keep track of your Pokémon Research Points. Earning these points can help you reach the next star rank, which unlocks new items, so keep an eye out for them!

  • Collect crafting materials whenever you see them. From berries and apricots to medicinal leeks and boulders, Hisui is packed with useful craft items. It's a good idea to collect these items as you see them so you never run out of crafting materials.

  • Improve your wallet. You can only carry a certain number of items. So if you have money to spare, be sure to invest in upgrading your pocket. This way you can collect more items in Hisui's jungle.

  • Remember to complete the orders. Many quests have a small reward for completing them, others improve Jubilife Village facilities like B. the local store or farm. These facilities can be incredibly useful on your trip, so take the time to update them.

  • Establish new base camps. As you explore the Hisui region, you can help the Galaxy Expedition Team build new base camps. This will give you better access to base camp facilities like item storage and a new fast travel location.

  • Don't be afraid to run away from an Alpha Pokémon. These creatures can easily take out both your team and yourself, especially early in the game. So if you don't want to lose any of your items, be prepared for a rushed departure.

  • look where you are Any Pokémon can damage it, and if you're careful during a fight, you can get hit by one of its attacks.

  • Pick up lost bags. When a player passes out in Legends: Arceus, he leaves a backpack where he fell. You can collect these backpacks and earn merit points along the way, which you can exchange for useful items.

Good luck in the Hisui region!
