The cottage was perfect for me, my husband and our dog. Cosy, clean and warm with lots of little personal touches making it feel more like a home than a rented cabin. The quality of bedding, pillows and towels was very good. Very good shower. Well equipped kitchen, very comfortable sofas and a nice big TV! The village is very pretty and it is about a 3 mile walk through fields and streets to Bourton-on-the-Water where there are many pubs, cafes, restaurants and gift shops. A problem for us, but if you're not used to it or if you're tall, it might be. The outside area is not fenced in and everything is stone/gravel meaning you can't just open the door and let your dog do a quick pee late at night or early in the morning. I believe this is mentioned in the description on the website. Overall, this is a great cabin for a couples weekend getaway! I will definitely come back here.

Me, my wife and our dog had a great weekend in the cottage, it was well equipped and had everything you could need! Surrounding areas such as Burford and Bourton on the Water have many small bakeries and independent shops. The Daylesford Farm Shop is only about a 10 minute drive away and definitely worth it.
