The accommodation is good, the environment is pleasant and the location is great. However, it is located in the eaves of the rebuilt shed, which is not visible in the photos or in the description. So first impressions were disappointing, not the romantic hideaway we were hoping for. Once inside, the bedroom is the best part, bright, comfortable and spacious. The living and dining area is small, even for just 2 people. The kitchen is well equipped and the bathroom is fine with a very good shower. Heating and hot water worked well. However, there are no recycling regulations, which is very disappointing.

Thanks to Richard for reviewing The Nest in Robins Roost. We are glad that you have found this hotel in pleasant surroundings and in a great location. We believe the photos of the property are a true reflection of the property and show the sloping roof due to the eaves. Rubbish is collected by private contractors, then sorted and recycled off-site to avoid this from guests. We hope you come back soon and stay in the Cotswolds!

The perfect place to explore the beautiful Cotswolds. Comfortable and clean accommodation. Fully equipped kitchen. Basic items such as tea, coffee and milk are provided. Bed linen is provided, including tea towels. Low ceilings, but that makes it even more cozy. Dogs are welcome and our dog is very comfortable in the place. The only issue we had was: the toilet didn't flush and it wasn't resolved during our stay. Thank you for some wonderful days.

A great place for two to spend a long weekend (with a dog). I can't complain. The fact that the apartment is basically a converted stone garage was a topic of conversation with colleagues, but everyone was impressed by the photos we sent them. It's a small space but well thought out. We would go there again without hesitation. It is only a short drive from Bourton-on-the-Water, yet in a small village surrounded by countryside. It has literally everything you need including a dishwasher and a washer and dryer if you wish. Excellent wifi service, phone signal was a bit spotty but patchy signal across most of the Cotswolds seemed to be an issue, definitely unrelated to the accommodation. I haven't been to this area for many, many years and found it to be a great place to explore. This was the first time we've booked anywhere since our son was born (the youngest is 20 so it's been a while). The whole experience of using StayCotswold has been very positive. Only complaint, our long weekend ended so quickly.
