A lovely early autumn weekend at The Old Farmhouse with our 2 sons and their partners. Communication with StayCotswold was very good from booking to the end of our stay. The old farmhouse is a beautiful old house with a lot of character. Attention, low beam in the upper bedroom! Spotless, warm and welcoming and has everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Plenty of space and nice to eat in a proper dining room for a change and then relax in the sitting room with the log burner going. Busier street than we expected, but we still slept very well. Beautiful area, amazing views of the cemetery and hiking trails on the doorstep. We enjoyed our 4 mile walk to the pub in Great Rissington. (delicious food) Have a nice weekend... thank you!

Traditional property in an ideal location but cleanliness could be improved. I would recommend a visit to St Peter's Church which has several war graves and panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.

Thank you James for your review of The Old Farmhouse. We are disappointed to hear that you have not contacted the property manager to address the cleaning issues during your stay. As part of the booking conditions, we ask that you raise any concerns during your stay to give the owner or property manager a fair opportunity to correct any issues. We hope you have enjoyed your time exploring the Cotswolds in general.
